What Blue Cheese Digital Did…
Asian Community Radio is a new Asian radio station based in Milton Keynes; that have recently launched on DAB across Milton Keynes and afar. Previously they were branded under ROQ RAW Radio which was created with one goal in mind: to bring the world’s most popular Asian music and singers in one place.
Asian Community Radio are a community radio station playing the hottest asian music including Bollywood, Indian, Pakistani, Punjabi & Urban Tunes.
ACR firstly approached Blue Cheese Digital to create new branding for their launch in May 2024 Due to the success of the logo design and branding ACR asked Blue Cheese Digital to design & develop a website for their new Asian community radio; with the main focus of streaming the radio from the website and also allowing people to read the latest news across Milton Keynes in the Asian community and including events such as Bar Bollywood which is a sub brand of Asian Community Radio.
Firstly Blue Cheese Digital set out to create a WordPress website for ACR; due to the ease factor in allowing ACR to edit their website once developed including creating blog posts, uploading photos from events and also uploading interviews that have been conducted. As the main focus of the website would be for playing and streaming the radio we included a large ‘play’ button on the homepage to allow people to stream directly from users desktops, laptops & tablets.
We then designed pages to make it easier for users to access interviews on the website so they can be listened to over and over again. Asian Community Radio are really happy with their website and Blue Cheese Digital will continue to support them in other various Digital Marketing activities.
