What Blue Cheese Digital Did…

Who are Black Country Multicultural Day?

Black Country Multicultural Day (BCMD) is to show how the people of the Black Country have become cultural diverse in recent years and about promoting understanding within our communities. Following success of the last 4 years in Dudley Town Centre & Halesowen. On the 19th July 2025 they’re going to be returning at Somers Square, Halesowen. We can’t wait for everyone to connect together and create ‘Unity in The Community’ vibes.

BCMD is all about making friends with people from different backgrounds and life experiences; and learning about their values. Through education and communication, the event hopes to promote the spirit of peace, harmony and unity in the community. This year at the 2025 Black Country Multicultural event there is going to be various different artists including: The Bhangra Smashup, Simply Abba, Ukrainian Dance, Caribbean Dance & multiple Talent show winners from the Black Country You’ve Got Talent.

What was the project?

The organisers of BCMD approached Blue Cheese Digital to create a promotional video for their 2025 event. We have been working with Black Country Multicultural Day for 2 years now on multiple projects including this year’s talent show, helping to promote the local community and bringing people together in the areas of Halesowen & Dudley.

We created a 50 second promotional video that will be going out across social media and will also be visible at the Halesowen Carnival on the 5th July; to help build more momentum in the lead up to the event. With that in mind with the video we used a variation of different photos and content around the Black Country; including the Black Country flag, area maps & industrial photos from the steel works; making people feel the whole event is togetherness in the black country.

We also included photos of the previous events in 2024 & 2023; to highlight features of the event. Play, the video below and maybe join us on the 19th July at Somers Square, Halesowen.

We’re looking forward to working with the Black Country Multicultural Day 2025 on various other projects over the next few weeks to make it the biggest event that they’ve ran to date!
