Who are Black Country Multicultural Day?
Black Country Multicultural Day (BCMD) is to show how the people of the Black Country have become cultural diverse in recent years and about promoting understanding within our communities. 2024 will see the fourth event, following success of the last 4 years in Dudley Town Centre & Halesowen. In July 2025 they’re going to be returning! Location will be announced soon.
BCMD is all about making friends with people from different backgrounds and life experiences; and learning about their values. Through education and communication, the event hopes to promote the spirit of peace, harmony and unity in the community.
What was the project?
The organisers of BCMD approached Blue Cheese Digital to create a promotional video for their 2025 event. BCD created the video following the success of the 2024 event, where Blue Cheese Digital created multiple items including promotional leaflets, sponsorship pack & the 2024 promotional video.
We created the promotional video using BCMD’s after-movie footage from the 2024 event & event photos. Utilising the red, black and white (The Black Country Flag) throughout the video as well as inputting key messages including the dates for 2025 and increasing engagement to the 2025 sponsorship opportunities.
We’re looking forward to working with the Black Country Multicultural Day 2025 on various other projects over the next few months to make it the biggest event that they’ve ran to date!
